Q: My company has employee screening needs across the United States- can you provide this coverage?

A: Yes- Gregory Services has relationships with qualified occupational health programs and collection facilities across the US.

Q: Do you provide onsite services?

A: Yes, Gregory Services provides onsite screening, mobile screening,(drugs and alcohol), employee education, and after hours testing.

Q: I need to perform random testing- do you offer this service?

A: Yes, complete random testing services are provided, with complete management of the random database, including additions and deletions to the random pool, performing selections, and communicating selection information to the client.

Q I am an owner/operator: Am I subject to the same regulations as larger companies?

A. Yes, if your vehicle  meets the same covered definitions of 26,001 pounds, is placarded, or carries 14 passengers plus the driver.

Q. If one of my drivers tests positive for drugs or alcohol- must I terminate them?

A. No, you are only REQUIRED to remove them from the safety sensitive position.

Q. Must I as the employer provide rehab to a positive- tested driver?

A. No, you are ONLY required to post for employee reference help line and/or providers of these services telephone numbers should they wish to pursue that option.

Q. Do I have to pay for drug or alcohol rehab?

A. No. You MAY but are not required.

Q. Can I test at a higher random rate than the regulations require?

A. Yes.

Q. After a reportable accident ( FMCSA) how long do I have to have my driver tested?

A. The regs state the tests are to be performed “as soon as practicable not to exceed 8hours. alcohol and 32 hours. drug.” Operative words are ” as soon as practicable”, so do not delay.
